The angular and energy distributions of 510 nuclei of Be/sup 8/, emitted in the form of two alpha particles in correlation in stars produced by 25-bev protons, are given. A comparison of the results with the evaporation theory shows the highenergy fragments are in excess for Li/sup 8/. (tr-auth)
