SEARCH FOR THE DECAY MODE: $mu$ $Yields$ e + $gamma$

A search for the decay mode mu yields e + gamma using spark chamber techniques is reported. Limits for the rate are less than 6 x 10/sup -8/ of the normal decay rate. (L.N N.)
