A new experiment for determining the upper limit for the branching ratio R of the process mu /sup +/ yields e/sup +/ + gamma relative to the normal decay mode mu /sup +/ e/sup +/ + nu + nu -bar yields a value of R of less than 1.2 x 10/sup -6/ with a 90% confidence level. (auth)
