DETERMINATION OF THE $Sigma$ PARITY

Journal Article · · Phys. Rev. Letters
AnguIar distributions and polarizations of EPSILON pi charge states are studied. The transition operator parity in the reaction K/sup -/ + p yields EPSILON + pi is established, and it is concluded that the K/sup p/ EPSILON parity is odd. Ambiguity (S. Minami, Progr. Theoret. Phys., Ili 2I3(I954)) data are presented in tabular form, and plots of momentum dependence of polarization terms and EPSILON /sup 0/, EPSILON /sup -/, and EPSILON /sup +/ angular distributions are given.
