ON THE MECHANISM OF THE B$sup 10$(d,p)B$sup 11$* STRIPPING REACTION

Journal Article · · Nuclear Phys.
OSTI ID:4809387
The effect of the non-central part of neutron-target interaction is investigated in (d,p) stripping reactions. The neutron, being captured with given orbital angular momentum, may transfer additional angular momentum to the target nucleus. This mechanism can explain the angular distribution of the protons from the B/sup 10/(d,p)B/sup 11*/ (flrst exc. state) reaction in the region of E/sub deut/ <1 Mev. (auth)
