STUDY OF THE 6.76 AND 7.30 Mev LEVELS OF B$sup 11$ BY THE B$sup 10$(d,p)B$sup 11$ REACTION (in French)

For the study of the 6.76- and 7.30-Mev levels of B/sup 11/, the proton distribution from the B/sup 10/(d,p) reaction was measured by the method of p- gamma coincidences. The correlations in the d-p plane for theta /sub p/ = 20 deg are isotropic. For the 6.76Mev level there exists a very sharp peak toward 40 deg which corresponds to 1/sub n/ = 1 for the orbital moment of the captured neutron. For the level at 7.30 Mev the peak at 40 deg is very sharp for which the value l, = 1 for the orbital moment of the captured neutron can be attributed. The angular distributions of the protons for E/sub d/ = 1.25 Mev are graphed relative to both energy levels. (J.S.R.)
