The angular distribution of protons from the (d,p) reactions of Si/sup 29/, Zr/sup 90/ and Cd/sup 113/ nuclei was investigated, carrying out the measurements in the 13.6-Mev beam of the Institute of Physics Cyclotron. The ionization chamber used as spectrometer was provided with an absorber for slowing down the neutrons; powdered oxides of the enriched isotopes contained in thin polystyrene films were used as targets. As the Si target contained 29.3% Si, in addition to protons corresponding to the first excited state of Si/sup 30/ from the Si/sup 29/(d,p)Si/sup 30/ reaction, the protons of the Si /sup 29/ ground state from the Si/sup 29/(d,p)Si/sup 29/ reaction were also recorded, although the expected energy difference of 90 kev could not be observed. The angalar distribution of protons of the first Si/sup 30/ level was calculated from the total angalar distribution of the Si/sup 28/(d,p)Si/sup 29/(/sub ground/ reaction. The da ta agree well with previous data obtained with 4.3-Mev deuterons. The angular distribution of protons from the Zr/sup 90,92,/ reaction, corresponding to the ground state and the first excited level of the final nucleus was also determined. The angular moments transmitted to the nucleus by neutrons in the Cd/sup 113/(d,p)Cd/sup 114/ reaction were found to be equal to 0 and 2 for the transition to the base state and the first excitation level (0.56 Mev) of Cd/sup 114/. In some cases the value of the radii of interaction were found to be smaller than anticipated because of Coulomb interaction. (TTT)
