STUDIES IN REVERSAL AUTORADIOGRAPHY

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:4806488
When an autoradiograph is made with permanent contact between the photographical emulsion and the specimen, the active areas can be completely hidden by the image, if they are very small. This is overcome by a reversal- development process leaving the active parts indicated by clear zones against a colored transparent background. The sizes of these zones are measures of the activities. The different processes involved in this method are discussed and results are shown in respect to different photographical materials. (auth)
