Superconducting Type of Pair Correlations in Atomic Nuclei (thesis); PRANYE KORRELYATSII SVERKHPROVODYASHCHEGO TIPA V ATOMNYKH YADRAKH

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:4804685
The theory of superconductivity is used in studies of ground and low- excitation levels. Comparisons of superconducting nucleon pairing correlations with experimental data show that residual reactions are gravitational in character and ground and low-level excitations are in a superfluid state. The superfluid nuclear model was formulated and its properties are analyzed. Correlations of the experimental data with calculations based on the superfluidity model show that the model correctly reflects the properties of ground and low-excitation states in strongly deformed nuclei and should prove useful in further studies of nuclear properties.
