AN INVESTIGATION OF THE $sup 29$Si(p,$gamma$$)$$sup 30$P REACTION

The Si/sup 29/ (p gamma )P/sup 30/ reaction was stadied at six resonances below 1 Mev. From analysis of the results obtained, spin and parity assignment were made to six of the low lying levels, and tentative assignments to four more levels. It is shown that these results do not readily fit in with what is expected on the Nilsson model. (auth)
