Completion of the Gev-1 capsule is reported. Approval for irradiation of this capsule in the MTR was obtained. Research on the chemistry of Mo using Mo/sup 99/ as tracer is reported. Several possible solvent extraction procedures were examined. The mass spectrometric behavior of Mo was investigated; a method of carbon reduction of MoO/sub 3/ to metal on the filament was used.
