INVESTIGATION OF THE ENERGY DEPENDENCE OF THE CROSS SECTION FOR PHOTOPRODUCTION OF $pi$$sup +$-MESONS ON HYDROGEN NEAR THE THRESHOLD (in Russian)

The differential cross sections for photoproduction of positive pions on hydrogen are measured in the photon energy range from 167 to 212 Mev. The measurements are carried out at an angle theta = cos-/sup -1/ (kw --0.93)/kq (the angle for which the contribution of the nonphysical region to the dispersion integrals is zero). The results are in agreement with the dispersion theory. A detailed analysis of the experimental results is carried out together with data on the angular distribution. (auth)
