A review is given on some important findings from the building of the Bradwell Nuclear Power Station. Discussion is given on; core and fuel handling, which includes construction and forced changes in fuel elements and graphite structure; primary circuit, which includes materials problems and leak tightness in design and construction of the pressure vessel, ducting, valves, circulators, and heat exchangers; final installation of instrumentation and controls; turbine hall and switchgear, including main and auxiliary turbo-generators, substation, and plant house; and standard and special components in ancillary equipment. A detailed list of the British companies who participated in the construction of Bradwell is given. (P.C.H.)
