Data are presented graphically on levels of I/sup 131/ in the thyroid glands from adult and fetal humans and hogs from 1958 to l962. Measurements were also made of levels of I/sup 131/ in adult and fetal human and hog neck muscle, commercial cow's milk, and human breast milk. The influence of the Idaho Falls reactor accident, the two French Sahara Desert atom bomb detonations, and each of the Russian detonations on levels of I/sup 131/ in thyroid glands is discussed.
