Optimum conditions are found for determining the amount Cs/sup 137/ in atmospheric precipitation. Triple solvent precipitation of fission product carriers (Fe, Sr, Ce, Y, and Zr) with macrocomponent admixtures (Na, K, Mg, Co, Cu, Ni, and others) achieves the separation of Cs/sup 137/. (R.V.J.)
