Journal Article · · Atomwirtschaft (West Germany) Changed to ATW, Atomwirtsch., Atomtech.
OSTI ID:4796663
Work being done in the United States, Great Britain, and the Soviet Union on the development and planning of power reactors is briefly reviewed. The significance of these programs in the development of the German research program is discussed. It is concluded that, for the German Republic, the most promising research program would concentrate on pressurized water and boiling water reactors (particularly with superheating), organic-cooled reactors, gas-cooled high-temperature reactors, and heavy water reactors with natural uranium.
