STATE OF POWER REACTOR CONSTRUCTION IN THE GERMAN FEDERAL REPUBLIC (in German)

The present state of development of power reactors in Germany is summarized. The reactor types constructed are light water-cooled pressurized- water and boiling reactors, gas-cooled natural uranium reactors, heavy water reactors, BBC/Krupp reactor, high-temperature gascooled reactors, high- temperature reactor with sealed gas turbine circuit, organic-moderated reactors, and sodium-cooled zirconium hydride-moderated reactors. The short-range reactor development program is briefly reported. (J.S.R.)
