A method for the synthesis of glycerin-trioleate from glycerin and oleic acid is reported. The acid value of the preparation obtained was 1.1 to 1.3. The labeling of glycerin-trioleate by the radioactive iodine is given in detail. The preparation has been applied in a series of patients. The results obtained are in accord with literature data.
