The design and operation of a small pinhole camera made of lead to locate unknown sources of gamma radiation in hot-cell work are described. An exposure is flrst made with x-ray film and then, without moving the camera, an exposure is made with ordinary black and white film. Superposition of the gamma- ray photograph on the ordinary photograph automatically locates any radiation hot spots in the area photographed. The equation used for calculating the pinhole, which is crucial to the design, is given. The performance of the camera is illustrated. (N.W.R.)
