BS>The radioactivity of atmospheric samples (rain and dust) was measured in Bucharest in 1960. The sampling and measurement methods are given, and the possible sources of error are discussed. The results are shown graphically. The accumulation of activity in the soil was also calculated. (J.S.R.)
