PHOTOGRAPHING TRACKS IN A DIFFUSION CLOUD CHAMBER

A classroom demonstration setup for photographing tracks in a diffusion cloud chamber is shown. The chamber is operated using a 45-v clearing field supplied by a 45-v dry cell, and is cooled with dry ice. Photographs are taken with a Polaroid camera, using a microscope illuminator as a light source. (T.F.H.)
