The reaction Si/sup 28/ (n, alpha )Mg/sup 25/ for 14.6-Mev neutrons was shown by the utilization of a p-n junction. The alpha peaks obtained correspond to different levels of Mg/sup 25/ and are in good agreement with the theoretical values. (tr-auth)
