One preferred composition is 8 wt% Ni, S wt% Cr, and balance Zr, and another preferred composition for brazing Zr to Fe is 6 wt% Ni, 6 wt% Cr, 6 wt% Fe, and balance Zr. Three examples are given for the use of the brazing alloy in Zr-clad reactor fuel elements and heat exchanger headers. (D.L.C.)
