The Pharmacological Effects of Some Radioprotective Agents in Mice
Methods are described for the measurement and recording of blood pressure, gut activity, and respiration in the mouse. Responses to some antiradiation compounds are presented. Differences in reaction to some radioprotectant thiuronium compounds after intravenous administration in mice and cats are described, The irtraperitoneal administration of four radioprotectant compounds to mice gave rise to a persistent hypertension. The significance of this finding is discussed.
