Shielding constants are tabulated for 8 representative concretes. The constants presented are neutron constants, total gamma linear attenuation coefficients, thermalneutron-capture gamma spectra, and gamma energyabsorption linear attenuation coefficients. The constants were calculated on the assumption that the cross section of a mixture is the sum of the cross sections of the constituent elements, except water. (D. L.C.)
