THE COEFFICIENT OF LINEAR EXPANSION OF KCl CRYSTALS IRRADIATED BY PROTONS

Using KCl crystals, the dependence of the coefficient of linear expansion and density of dislocations on the dose of radiation of protons with an energy of 4.5 Mev was studied. It was shown that the change in the coefficient of linear expansion corresponds to the change in density of the dislocations. The dependence of the coefficient of linear expansion, measured at various temperatures, on the radiation dose, is given. (auth)
