The spectrum of the gamma rays emitted in the decay of Eu/sup 147/ and Eu/sup 148/ was investigated using a scintillation spectrometer. Using the single crystal summing and the coincidence techniques, the positions and the modes of de-excitation of the levels in Sm/sup 147/ and Sm/sup 148/ were established. Decay schemes for Eu/sup 147/ and Eu/sup 148/ were proposed. (auth)
