The Bevatron operated 80% of the scheduled operating time. The machine was off 18% of the scheduled operating time because of component failure and 2% at the request of the user. A total of 811 hours of experimental time was accumulated by four physics groups engaged in primary experiments; 254 hours were accumulated by outside groups. Four target bombardments were made.
