Bevatron operation averaged 77% of the scheduled operating time this quarter. The machine was off 21% of the scheduled operating time due to equipment failure and 2% at the request of the user. The physics research program gain was devoted to study of K/sup -/-and pi /sup -/-meson interactions in hydrogen and deuterium. Seven chemistry bombardments were made in the internal proton beam.
