Probabilities of radiation on electron shock ionization of excited atoms and the probabilities of recombination processes are analyzed. An expression for the coefficient of recombination with emission was developed considering all excitation states of complex atoms. The gradual atomic ionization by electric shock was studied using the BetheBorn approximation. It is shown that the excited atom ionization is of paramount importance in near equilibrium plasma. Recombination by triple shock (ion + 2 electrons) is gradual. Expressions were developed for ionization and recombination coefficients. It was also revealed that the results are not sensitive to the inltial effective cross sections. (R.V.J.)
