USE OF THE METHOD OF AMPEROMETRIC TITRATION WITH TWO INDICATOR ELECTRODES FOR THE VOLUMETRIC DETERMINATION OF URANIUM (in Russian)

Journal Article · · Zhur. Anal. Khim.

The method of amperometric titration with the use of two indicator electrodes--dead stop end point was used for titration of uranium(IV) with a number of oxidizers: (NH/sub 4/VO/sub 3/, Ce(SO/sub 4/)/sub 2/, K/sub 2/Cr/sub 2/ O/sub 7/, KMnO/sub 4/, and NH/sub 4/Fe(SO /sub 4/)/sub 2/. The method permits the determination of smaller quantities of uranium (down to about 1.5 gamma /ml) with higher accuracy than the ordinary method of amperometric titration or a potentiometric method.
