READOUTS FOR MULTIPARAMETER ANALYZERS

The existing multiparameter analyzers of the delayed time totalizing or non-sorting type are described with emphasis on the data recording portion of the analyzer. The existing readout systems for multichannel pulse height analyzer are comparable to the readout required for the real time totalizing multiparameter analyzer. The format and other requirements for a recording compatible with IBM computers are discussed to show what may be required for future recording systems. (M.C.G.)
