A magnetic parallel storer is described which was built for sorting and storage of data. The storer has 128 storage registers each with 16 bits and a cycle time of 80 mu sec. It works according to the flux coincidence method with a selection ratio of 2 : 1. Its magnetic commutator switch is unconventional and in need of slight directed expenditure. (tr-auth)
