An area-wise dose rate calculation method using differential angular dose albedos is presented for application in radiatton shielding design. A FORTRAN program employing differential dose albedos was set up to calculate the dose rate resulting from singly reflected photons in a straight rectangular duct and an L-shaped two-legged rectangular duct.
