Using the reaction C/sup 13/(p, gamma )N/sup 14/ with protons having the energy of the 1.75 Mev resonance, the gamma cascade from the 9.16 Mev level to 6.44 Mev level and from there to the ground level of N/sup 14/ is studied. Measurements of angular correlations and distributions for various geometries in relation to the proton beam established the spins of the 9.16 Mev and 6.44 Mev levels to be 2 and 3 respectively.
