The total yields of /sup 14/N(p,n)/sup 14/O from threshold, 6.345 plus or minus 0.015, to 12 Mev and of /sup 12/C(/sup 3/He,n)/sup 14/0 from threshold, 1.445 plus or minus 0.010, to 3.5 Mev were obtained by measuring the activation of 140. The differential cross sections at several angles and some angular distributions of the following outgoing radiations induced by /sup 3/He on /sup 12/C from 1.8 to 5.4 Mev were also measured: elastic /sup 3/He, alpha /sub 0/, alpha /sub 1/, proton groups corresponding to the formation,of the /sup 14/N ground state and excited states at 2.311, 3.945, 4.91, 5.10, 5.69, , p/sub 5/, p/ sub 6/, p/sub 8/, p/sub 9/, and p/sub 11/), and the 6.44 Mev gamma ray ( gamma / sub 6.44/) following the p/sub 9/ group. Both the p/sub 9/ and the corresponding gamma /sub 6.44 show a strong isolated resonance at 2.990 plus or minus 0.010 Mev with GAMMA /sub lab/ = 125 plus or minus 10 kev. Analyses, assuming pure compound nucleus formation as the reaction mechanism, on the elastic /sup 3/He, p/ sub 9/, gamma /sub 6.44, p/sub 1/, and n/sub 0/ data yielded J /sup pi/ = 5/2/ sup +/ for the 14.46 Mev state of /sup 15/O and even parity for the 6.44 Mev state of /sup 14/N. Indicitions of states in /sup 15/O it 14.03, Mev were also observed. The 15.1 Mev gamma excitation curves of the reactions /sup 10/B(/sup 3/ He,p gamma /sub 15.1)/sup 12*/C and /sup 11 /B(d,n gamma /sub 15.1/) /sup 12*/ C(15.1 Mev state, T = 1) were measured. In the reaction /sup 10/B(/sup 3/He,p gamma /sub 15.1)/sup 12*/C, there were indications of res onances at E3/sub He/ = 2.85 Mev ( GAMMA = 450 kev) and 5.2 Mev ( GAMMA = 240 kev), corresponding to states in /sup 13/N at 23.8 and 25.6 Mev. In /sup 11/B(d,n gamma /sub 15.1/)/sup 12*/C, there were indications of resonances at E/sub d/= 2.18 Mev ( GAMMA = 140 kev), 3.08 Mev ( GAMMA = 185 kev), 3.71 Mev ( GAMMA = 170 kev), and 4.41 Mev (broad), corresponding to states in /sup 13/C at 20.52, 21.28, 21.81 and 22.41 Mev.
