RADIOACTIVE FALL-OUT IN SADO ISLAND, JAPAN (in Japanese)

Journal Article · · Res. Rept. Nagaoka Tech
OSTI ID:4770309
The detected artificial radioactivity in rainfall of Sado Island was little or nothing until Sept. 1961. But after the reopening of the nuclear explosion tests by U.S.S.R. on Sept. 1961, radioactivity in rainfall increased, and especially since Oct. 21, highly radioactive spots were found in the open air. As a result of measurements for distribution, decay, and attenuation in Al filter, highly radioactive particies picked up from these spots were considered to be due to the successive large scale nuclear explosions.
