A precise isotopic analysis of microgram amounts of lithium was made with a triple-filament surface-ionization ion source. On a single-collector mass spectrometer the Li/sup 7/Li/sup 6/ ratio was determined with a standard error of 0.2 to 0.3%. On a double-collector spectrometer, relative measurements of the isotopic constitution were made, with a standard error of about 0.1%. (auth)
