Reproductive Survival of Chick Embryo Cells Irradiated in Ovo and in Vitro

Journal Article · · Radiation Research
DOI:https://doi.org/10.2307/3571176· OSTI ID:4769431
Reproductive survival of chick embryo wing bud cells has been measured in vitro, after irradiation with 220-kev x rays either in vitro or in ovo. The survival curves are of the multihit type, the exponential regions being characterized by mean lethal doses of 268 and 323 rads, and extrapolation numbers of 1.8 and 1 to 2, respectively.
