NUCLEAR PHYSICS MEASUREMENT APPARATUS (in German)

Journal Article · · Elektro-Welt
OSTI ID:4769418
After a description of the various kinds of radiation, the most common radiation detectors in construction and mode of operation are explained more closely. The most important radiation measuring places were considered individually according to their functional position for the different measuring problems. The nuclear physics measuring instruments, which are used chiefly for work with isotopes, are the ones considered. Impulse, scintillation, and proportional counters and ionization chambers are described. (tr-auth)
