A NOTE ON THE MEASUREMENT OF THE U$sup 238$ CADMIUM RATIO

A technique for measuring the U/sup 238/ cadmium ratio in which a light water moderated lattice with 1.15% U/sup 235/ enriched metal rods and a 3: 1 H/ sub 2/O/U volume ratio was used. A noticeable increase of the cadmium ratio was found when the activities of the two foils were homogenized before counting. (W.D.M.)
