Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:4768612

Female miniature swine comparable in size to man have been maintained on levels of daily Sr/sup 90/ ingestion from 1 to 3100 mu c per day. Ariimals fed up to 625 mu c Sr/sup 90/ per day during gestation and animals in levels up to 125 mu c/day from conception through their reproductive cycle have given birth to normal sized litters of viable offspring of normal morphology. At the 3100 mu c Sr/sup 90/ per day level, the females died from radiation effects before parturition, but normal appearing fetuses were presert. (auth)
