Television camera inspection equipment for inaccessible locations in reactors in which the inspection equipment is carried on the end of a hollow supporting hose is described. Means are provided for effecting a forward flow of coolant gas through the hose and television camera and a return flow through an outer path which extends around the camera. The equipment is adapted for reactor fuel channels in which the supporting hose is carried on a winding drum located in an auxiliary pressure vessel coupled to the reactor pressure vessel. The outer return flow exhausts at or near the camera, while according to another embodiment the supporting hose has concentric passages, Ihe forward flow passing along the inner passage and the return flow along the outer passage, whereby connections are provided at the drum so that the return flow is passed through cooling apparatus and a blower and then recirculated through the inner passage of the hose.
