>A preliminary plan for a 60-Bev alternating-gradient synchrotron to be constructed at Saclay is outlined. This machine will use a series injector consisting of a 50-Mev linear accelerator followed by a 1.5-Bev alternatinggradient synchrotron with rapid cycling. A detailed calculation of the main parameters is followed by a tabulation of these parameters of these two synchrotrons. (auth)
