SOME DETAILS OF THE ANALYSIS OF NEUTRAL V-EVENTS IN A HEAVY LIQUID BUBBLE CHAMBER

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:4766701
The method used for analysis of neutral V-events in a propane bubble chamber produced by mesons ( pi /sup -/) of momenta 6.2, 11.6, and 1B.1 Bev/c is described. The scanning of films was carried out on Prevost scanning tables. Special measurements were made to determine the distortion in the chamber and instrumental errors. Modifications of the program used for analyses of the events are discussed along with corresponding changes in the procedure of the preparation of measurements. Histograms are shown, presenting some significant distributions, illustrating the internal consistency of the procedure. (M.C.G.)
