Journal Article · · Pribory i Tekhn. Eksperim.
OSTI ID:4016040

A bubble chamber with a volume of 1 x 0.5 x 0.38 m/sup 3/ intended for investigating synchrocyclotron beams with energies up to 10 Bev is described. The working fluid of the chamber is propane or a similar substance selected in conformity with the experimental problem. The chamber is located in a magnetic field of 17 kgauss. The precision for measuring particle momenta of approximates 5 Bev/c was determined to be plus or minus 3.2%. (tr-auth)
