MONITORING OCCUPATIONAL RADIATION EXPOSURE IN MEDICINE

The relative nmerits and disadvantages of the pocket dosimeter and the film badge for monitoring exposure in medical personnel are discussed, and it is concluded that the film badge is the only practical method for use with the types of ionizing radiation encountered in medical therapy and research.
