In reactors it is often necessary to control in synchronism the movement of a number of eontrol rods. If there is a relatively great number of position indicators, it is difficult for the operator to check a deviation. Thus, means are provided for scanning step by step in a cyclic sequence the positions of a number of elements controlled in synchronism and for comparing these positions with a reference position so that the signal representing the difference of the two positions is determined. Warning means gives an indication when this latter signal reaches a given level. (NPO)
