CALCULATION OF THE ELASTIC SCATTERING FOR 19.6 Mev PROTONS ACCORDING TO AN OPTICAL MODEL OF THE NUCLEUS (in Ukrainian)

The differential cross sections for the elastic scattering of 19.6-Mev protons on separated isotopes of Co/sup 59/,Cu/sup 65/ Cd/sup 111/, Cd/sup 116/, Sn/sup 116/, and Sn/sup 124/ are calculated by employi ng a complex potential in an optical model. The real part of the potential is chosen in the Saxon form and the imaginary part in the Gaussian form. An attempt to obtain agreement between the experimental data and calculations made with the imaginary part of the optical potential in the Saxon form is not successful. It proves impossible to make the experimental data consistent with the optical model calculations in the case of small angles (20 to 40 deg ). (auth)
