PHOTOLYSIS AND RADIOLYSIS OF IODOETHANE IN THE GAS PHASE

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:4765434
All reaction products from the photolysis and radiolysis of iodoethane in the gas phase that were volatile up to 200 deg C were determined by gas chromatography. Hydrogen and methane were determined by mass spectroscopy. The formation of products was observed in the range of 10/sup -2/ to 1% decomposition. Ethane and ethylene formation are described. (M.C.G.)
